#21: Kismet's Ballade

Barbershop clippers buzzing in the back
As the clients wait for a chair
In walks the siren as she attracts
All of the moaning and stares
While her aura causes others to swear
She throws them a couple of bones
But one seemed to have that instant flare
(Hindsight) She should've just him left alone

Wining and dining occurs shortly after
As the two get to know each other
He's starting to retire his bachelor
As she begins to become his lone lover
Days later, she's acting like his mother
Treating him as if he's not grown
He's treating her as if he doesn't love her
(Hindsight) She should've just left him alone

A year later, they are still together
The relationship has hit a quagmire
Thoughts say the ties should've been severed
Because she shows no more desire
And his feelings are simply unknown
With her love, she has misfired
(Hindsight) She should've just left him alone

Her demanor is seemingly acrid
And her nature she no longer condones
Because of the reverse that happened
(Hindsight) She should've just left him alone
