#58: A Dose of Minute Poetry
Fear has submerged my ambition
Stalled my mission
Buying back doubt
Without bailout
Forced to beat this solemness drum
By my lonesome
I dare to dream
Of sights unseen
Justice and peace formed by a King
As Mason sings
The time is now
To earn my crown
Stalled my mission
Buying back doubt
Without bailout
Forced to beat this solemness drum
By my lonesome
I dare to dream
Of sights unseen
Justice and peace formed by a King
As Mason sings
The time is now
To earn my crown

#57: For You, Sedoka!
For the bleeding eyes
Recognize the vivid truth
Within few seconds
But an acute mind
Takes a couple of minutes
To believe a lie
Recognize the vivid truth
Within few seconds
But an acute mind
Takes a couple of minutes
To believe a lie

#55: WK Kyrielle's Sonnet
As sunset creeps upon a dream
Gently speaking of what was seen
Something blows by with innocence:
That life shall never be silenced
Minds mustn't be led in day's night
Succumbing to a moment's trite
For with footprints that sand submits
That life shall never be silenced
Though drums no longer beat in sync
And times of joy are "on the brink"
No matter the length of distance
That life shall never be silenced
As sunset creeps upon a dream
That life shall never be silenced
Gently speaking of what was seen
Something blows by with innocence:
That life shall never be silenced
Minds mustn't be led in day's night
Succumbing to a moment's trite
For with footprints that sand submits
That life shall never be silenced
Though drums no longer beat in sync
And times of joy are "on the brink"
No matter the length of distance
That life shall never be silenced
As sunset creeps upon a dream
That life shall never be silenced

#54: Pantoum's Tormented Situation
What can I do, when your lies are true
In this fantasy of a staged play?
Everything we had was all on you
But you seem to have thrown it away
In this fantasy of a staged play
I have scripted the ultimate scene
But you seem to have thrown it away
Because your actor's lines appear green
I have scripted the ultimate scene
(Propaganda has clouded your mind)
Because your actor's lines appear green
He has told you not to give me time
Propaganda has clouded your mind
What can I do, when your lies are true
He has told you not to give me time
(Everything we had was all on you)
In this fantasy of a staged play?
Everything we had was all on you
But you seem to have thrown it away
In this fantasy of a staged play
I have scripted the ultimate scene
But you seem to have thrown it away
Because your actor's lines appear green
I have scripted the ultimate scene
(Propaganda has clouded your mind)
Because your actor's lines appear green
He has told you not to give me time
Propaganda has clouded your mind
What can I do, when your lies are true
He has told you not to give me time
(Everything we had was all on you)

#52: Welcome Back, Trimeric!
A new dawn has arrived
The time is now reflection
Upon aspects that changed
Which improved our connection
Laughing at that old reflection
Passing me down the halls
Propelled my pride's protection
From you, but my heart has changed
As it embraces who you are
Because before, it couldn't sustain
That seemingly frail connection
While today, nothing's the same
Tomorrow, we'll try for perfection
The time is now reflection
Upon aspects that changed
Which improved our connection
Laughing at that old reflection
Passing me down the halls
Propelled my pride's protection
From you, but my heart has changed
As it embraces who you are
Because before, it couldn't sustain
That seemingly frail connection
While today, nothing's the same
Tomorrow, we'll try for perfection

#51: The Trilogy's Final Epic (Part 1)
I must continue for I haven't reached my end.
Never once did I believe that it'll be this way.
As the men are marching towards me, I shall not be taken captive without a fight.
Kill me now or surrender to my might!
Never once did I believe that it'll be this way.
As the men are marching towards me, I shall not be taken captive without a fight.
Kill me now or surrender to my might!
#50: Sestina's Tomorrow
An Arabian sunset and the Bohemian breeze
Soothes my poorly conditioned mind
Which has been affected by the pain
From the departure on that day
In which my life has pledged solitude
Never again to be fooled
For a wise man doesn't succumb to fools
As he wants no part of a winter's breeze
He'd rather be reduced to solitude
Then allow someone to seduce his mind
Wise's assistance on that day
Could've delayed the inevitable pain
Becoming an expert in woeful pain
I would once again be fooled
During the midst of Summer's day
Sometime between the heat and the breeze
Temporary dementia would contort my mind
Mistakingly leading me out solitude
So, I shall revert back to solitude
This place relieves me of pain
Allowing reason to protrude in my mind
To never again be fooled
It shall cool my mind as a breeze
Slowly learning lessons from that day
Regrets are thought about that day
When relaxing in solitude
Feeling the Bohemian's comforting breeze
Alleviates any threats of pain
Those of which attempt to fool
The current state of my mind
Despite the damage on my mind
The incurred on that day
I pledge to never again be fooled
Assisted by my solitude
I shall never again feel that pain
That overcame me as a breeze
The cool breeze felt by my mind
Allowed the pain to die on that day
As solitude vows never again to be fooled
Soothes my poorly conditioned mind
Which has been affected by the pain
From the departure on that day
In which my life has pledged solitude
Never again to be fooled
For a wise man doesn't succumb to fools
As he wants no part of a winter's breeze

#49: The Balance of Iambic's Pentameter
Am I chasing a ghost, without the cape?
Or have I succumb to man's preferred taste
This being may not appear brightly clear
But these two eyes shall never, from her, steer
In an Eastern bath, she would have arose
Gently drying off her Malaysian skin
To clothe in a silk Japanese plaid robe
Planning my and her day that we shall spend
Intelligence and a swift sharpened tongue
She shall very intricately possess
To those outsiders, she will be loving
But to me, will she consistently test
As God created Eve from Adam's bone
During a remarkable deathly nap
This lady will be a part of my mind
Until my arms around her will be wrapped
Or have I succumb to man's preferred taste
This being may not appear brightly clear
But these two eyes shall never, from her, steer
In an Eastern bath, she would have arose
Gently drying off her Malaysian skin
To clothe in a silk Japanese plaid robe

#48: A Ballad's End
You smile and I smile back at you
To be polite and respectful
But as the night falls, the heat comes
While we engage in the dreadful
A fire burns when I see you
From across that vast distant street
Knowing that should be me right there
Making that torn heart skip a beat
My time is when the sun will sleep
But our shared time is deceit
How can I enjoy you at night
But in the day be so discrete?
A year and a half this happened
My feelings cease to vary
These rendezvous cannot be right
Because my heart is quite wary
How can you treat him in this way?
I wouldn't appreciate it
But I am doing the same thing
Which, to me, makes it more legit
Our friends have not the slightest clue
As to the secret tryst we have
Though that lone mutual person's
Anxiety we must both salve
He has been victim for awhile
It's time to get him out the dark
Yes, it probably will hurt him
With love, he's a fish among sharks
I cannot take this anymore
These urges I have to append
Tomorrow, my brother will know
That I'm sleeping with his girlfriend
To be polite and respectful
But as the night falls, the heat comes
While we engage in the dreadful
A fire burns when I see you
From across that vast distant street
Knowing that should be me right there
Making that torn heart skip a beat
My time is when the sun will sleep
But our shared time is deceit
How can I enjoy you at night
But in the day be so discrete?

#46: The Cort's Lay
Eyes awaken as hours count down
To the time when I'm blessed to see you
Your smile always deems the day worth wild
But when you're sad, the day turns to blue
Your childlike banter creates a mood
That I, myself, happen to enjoy
And though you may possess signs of coy
I understand what you're going through
Respectable, you certainly are
Despite your age and temperment
To others you are necessary
But to me, you are effervescent
Never thought I'd praise your company
When I first encountered you that day
Later that night, I went home to pray
To thank Him for sending you to me
Dedication in art you deserve
Because you go above and beyond
No one can replace what you have built
And to me, I am just simply fond
So, thank you for everything you've done
And everything you plan to do
Much success in all your endeavors
But with yourself, please, always stay true
To the time when I'm blessed to see you
Your smile always deems the day worth wild
But when you're sad, the day turns to blue
Your childlike banter creates a mood

#45: A Mind's Rhyme
And then there were 4.....
Reasons why I do what I do
Baffling to those who don't have a clue
Wondering why their emotions have succumb to
Up and down phases like an addict who withdrew
And then there were 3.....
Ways in which you need to fall back
Understanding your role like a washed up quarterback
Before I unleash a treacherous attack
Against you and your crew...feminine like some lilacs
And then there were 2....
Entities that I respect
Never gave up...never did neglect
Only chastised to make me correct
Instilling in me commendable aspects
And then there was 1...
Person who endured it all
From the many successes to a couple of the falls
Grinding all day until the night calls
But not done because of the blessing's windfall
And then..there was him....
Reasons why I do what I do
Baffling to those who don't have a clue
Wondering why their emotions have succumb to
Up and down phases like an addict who withdrew
And then there were 3.....

#44: His Classicism....
What makes thee beautiful?
Is it thy voluptuous lips
Or perfectly formed physique?
Or is it thine long flowing hair
That makes me..O, so, weak?
Thou beauty surpasses all the above
By one lone distinct aspect
No other can compare to
Thine intelligence, that is quite perfect
Thy voice demands concentration
Thy walk commands to be enthralled
And thine aura adds to the beauty
But thine mentality confirms it all
Is it thy voluptuous lips
Or perfectly formed physique?
Or is it thine long flowing hair
That makes me..O, so, weak?
Thou beauty surpasses all the above
By one lone distinct aspect
No other can compare to
Thine intelligence, that is quite perfect
Thy voice demands concentration
Thy walk commands to be enthralled
And thine aura adds to the beauty
But thine mentality confirms it all

#43: An Ode's Full Circle
O, what a young naive love we share
One that is innocent and still fresh
To the world together we must dare
To jog the minds of pure love, refreshed
Not of momentary happiness
Or conditional satisfaction
But of something bestowed by Venus
On Mars, for vigorous reaction
Though this may be of love untested
A fantasy voyage says the lust
But by the Heavens, this love sculpted
And in that do we sincerely trust
One that is innocent and still fresh
To the world together we must dare
To jog the minds of pure love, refreshed
Not of momentary happiness
Or conditional satisfaction
But of something bestowed by Venus
On Mars, for vigorous reaction
Though this may be of love untested
A fantasy voyage says the lust
But by the Heavens, this love sculpted
And in that do we sincerely trust

#42: The Meditation of Idyll
Cool water eases my very soul
While laying in the fields of pleasure
I am often taken by spring's hold
Wisked away to delightful's treasure
The sustaining air breathes life anew
In this new found land of choice and hope
To a being in need of a clue
To increase his short, limited scope
These plains bring nothing but timeless joy
During moments where it truly lacks
I retreat to this place to deploy
All of the unwarranted setbacks....
While laying in the fields of pleasure
I am often taken by spring's hold
Wisked away to delightful's treasure
The sustaining air breathes life anew
In this new found land of choice and hope
To a being in need of a clue
To increase his short, limited scope
These plains bring nothing but timeless joy
During moments where it truly lacks
I retreat to this place to deploy
All of the unwarranted setbacks....

#41: Blank Verse's Intentions
Beg for mercy, yes you shall...we all do
Time and time again because nature says
Forgiveness takes the heart as a thief's mind
During a night's quest over gold's fortune
Promoting kindness and thoughts of own sin
Understanding of transgressions shall reap
As a griot in Earth's bosom of man
Helps to heal and close spacious holes in souls
Influencing the outlook humans have
Choose wisely your path before you leap out
For doing so may show you your being
Time and time again because nature says
Forgiveness takes the heart as a thief's mind
During a night's quest over gold's fortune
Promoting kindness and thoughts of own sin
Understanding of transgressions shall reap
As a griot in Earth's bosom of man
Helps to heal and close spacious holes in souls

#40: An English Pindaric Ode
That pain wasn't like anything before
He would experience something much more
Thinking that they were more than just friends
The limb he stepped on would be his end
Sleeping at his house, she thought it was pure
But as she hung around, he was not sure
When morning arrived, he walked through the door
To see her in his clothes, with food to lure
He is taken by surprise, not sure what to think
She tells him when he's done, put the stuff in the sink
The next day comes as she prepares to leave
She hugs him bye and he starts to perceive
He calls her on the phone to thank her for the time
She tells him, "Your welcome, don't worry, anytime"
He begins to wonder why she was so loving
So he thinks there is something that she's cover'n
On the phone, he states that he never felt this way
She professes, "Then babe say what you have to say"
He says, "Ok. I will...I love you"
She says, "Yeah, I know. I love you too"
He says, "I love you more than just a friend, boo"
She says, "Sorry, but like that, I don't love you"
He would experience something much more
Thinking that they were more than just friends
The limb he stepped on would be his end
Sleeping at his house, she thought it was pure
But as she hung around, he was not sure
When morning arrived, he walked through the door
To see her in his clothes, with food to lure
He is taken by surprise, not sure what to think
She tells him when he's done, put the stuff in the sink
